How Receiving Works
Public Access: This page allows receiving files without sharing your identity. The other party should login to send files.
Your Public Code: The 5-digit code above is your temporary public identity. Share this with anyone who wants to send you a file.
- Guests: This code is temporary and regenerates periodically for security.
- Logged-in Users: This code is properly assigned to your account and persists across sessions.
Fair Usage Limits:
- Free Tier: Transfers are limited to 10 files or 100MB per day (Total for both Sender & Receiver).
- Pro Subscription: If either the Sender or Receiver has a Pro subscription, these limits are removed completely.
Privacy & Security:
Files are transferred directly between devices (Peer-to-Peer) using WebRTC. Your data is end-to-end encrypted and never stored on our servers. The 5-digit code serves only to help devices find each other securely.
